Owning a small business gave her freedom and insurance gave her confidence

Cheri Glynn already had experience in entrepreneurship from helping a family member start a cleaning business while she was in college. After moving to Atlanta, she felt it was time to start her own small business, and that’s when Cheri opened Pro Clean Atlanta.

Owning a small business has given Cheri a lot of freedom in her life. She has the ability to give back and to structure every day how she sees fit. That’s a gift successful entrepreneurs know well.

But there was something else that gave Cheri even more confidence as a business owner – the right business insurance.

My name is Cheri Glynn. I am the chief experience officer at Pro Clean Atlanta. Well cleaning was something that I actually started when I was in college. I helped a family member start a janitorial business when I was down there. So it was always something that I kind of thought about when I moved to Atlanta. 
It allows me to be able to give back. It allows me to be able to get up every day and to control my day. 

Hiscox, especially for a new business owner, but also for established businesses, it’s where you should always start. With me being a new business, I was really, really surprised at the kind of money I was paying for insurance for a business that was just newly out of the gate like mine was. 

And I was mentioning it to a friend of mine, and he has a very successful cleaning company in another area, and he said, “Well, have you looked at Hiscox?” And I was like, “No, I didn’t.” And I called and it was so easy and there are a lot of things you can do from the website. So when I go in to update my declaration page, if I need to get it over to a commercial, I can do all of that online and print it out and send it over to whoever I need to. Before I had to wait until the next business day, wait for somebody to do it and send it out to me, and in my business, that can mean the difference between getting a contract and not. 

I feel like I have a product now that grows with me. But just the peace of mind and the confidence of just knowing that if I have a need to use my insurance that I should not be concerned.
