When I first started creating content, I didn’t exactly think of myself as a business owner. I thought of myself as a storyteller, an artist, an advocate. I was showing up online to talk about mental health, chronic illness, and identity, not to build an empire. But the truth is, the moment you start monetizing your work, you’re running a business. Whether you realize it or not.
As I stepped into creatorpreneurship, it didn’t take long to realize that building a personal brand online isn’t just about followers it’s about foundations. You need contracts. You need systems. You need a long-term vision. And yes, you need business insurance.
